Kantha is a centuries-old textile tradition from Bengal, where layers of fabric are brought together by hand using simple, running stitches. Traditionally created from pre-loved textiles, Kantha gives fabric a second life, preserving traces of its former story within every stitch.
Our Vintage Kantha jackets are made from these time-worn textiles, each carrying its own variations in colour, texture and character. Every piece is unique — a reflection of the hands that made it and the life the fabric has lived before.
Care
- Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Do not soak, bleach or wring.
- Gently press out excess water and reshape while damp.
- Air dry flat or hang in the shade.
- Do not tumble dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
